- 24″ round / 24×24: 17–18″ spread base
- 30″ round / 30×30: 20–22″ spread base
- 36″ round / 36×36: 22–24″ spread base
- 42″–48″ round: 30″ spread base
- Rectangular (to 30×48): 22×30 base — 60″+ needs two bases
